As an important financial city in west China ,Chengdu is a base of financial institutions , so it is easy to change money and cash travelles cheque at banks or at the hotel reception at the same exchange rate.

Banks : Bank of China and Bank of Communications provide money exchange service and travller's cheque service ; other banks with a sign , Money Exchange , can change US Dollars and as for other currencies , it depends on the bank.On Saturday and Sunday , money exchange and travelle's cheque service is not available at all the banks .

Hotels : Five-star and Four-star hotels just provide money exchange service without traveller's cheque service .
